  Field Maintenance Engineer - London

With approximately 9,100 payphone units in service, Spectrum Interactive are the second largest operator of Payphones and the market leader in Public Internet Access terminals in the UK.

We are currently looking for a dynamic flexible individual who is willing to take on new challenges and through on the job training, build the necessary skills required to undertake engineering problems on a range of products deployed by Spectrum Interactive plc. 

Initially the role will be carried out under the guidance of an experienced Spectrum Interactive Engineer who will assist with working towards the identification and resolution of engineering problems and assist in identifying the optimum method or technique for undertaking the necessary work.

Knowledge and Experience

Good understanding of computers
Capable of working in a lone, unsupervised environment
Good analytical and investigative skills
Clear written and communications skills
Ability to take ownership of engineering problems and maintain a high level of performance
Must have full clean drivers licence
Must be able to prove last 5 years employment to gain security clearance

Other

3 month probationary period
Required to join the On Call Rota (paid as overtime)
Currently Mon-Fri (this may change due to rota)
Company van provided (no private use)

Salary and Benefits

Salary - £17,500 to £19,516 (dependant on experience)
Annual Bonus - Up to 10% of salary
Holidays - Starting at 20 days increasing after 2 years service by one day per annum (max 25)
BUPA, Cigna (dental), Pension contributions after 2 years service
