PRESS RELEASE
Internet Desks at Heathrow T5 with Spectrum Interactive
Spectrum Interactive plc today releases photos of its installations across BAA's Heathrow Terminal 5. The installations include a highly innovative new design for the T5 departures lounge, and bespoke designs for installations within Caffe Nero, Bagel Street & Love Juice retail concessions.
The design & production of these units had to meet new and highly demanding standards set by BAA in terms of both quality of design and build techniques. The installations follow the announcement in 2006 that Spectrum had successfully won the contract to operate Internet Desks and Payphones at BAA's new Heathrow Terminal 5.
Daniel Gray, Head of Marketing and Product for Spectrum said; "The internet desks have been very well received by everyone involved. The new designs have worked well, and are bespoke to fit in with their individual locations. Usage results have been very positive so far, despite the difficulties experienced by Terminal 5 since its opening. Spectrum has proven once again, that it's the UK Airport's Internet Desk provider of choice!"
