Spectrum currently has contracts and units in place with a UK mobile operator for the location of microcell radio base stations within street kiosks to improve GSM cellular coverage in built-up areas.

Spectrum will further benefit from the roll-out of 3G networks where base stations are needed to be closer together (due to higher transmission frequency), especially in built up city centre areas.
